Get Outside

David meditating in the forest

There’s something magical about being outdoors.

It’s so grounding. The smell of wet grass, the sound of rusting leaves, the touch of chilly wind… It always boosts my mood for days!

Maybe it’s because our lives today are spent in front of glowing screens; in stuffy, enclosed spaces; with recirculated air; and little natural sunlight (especially in Seattle, yeesh!)

But to me, exercising outdoors feels like a reset.

Like I’m turning the Etch-a-Sketch of my brain over and shaking it out. Clearing out the old. Making room for whatever I want to create next.

It’s amazing to me that even in a city of 700,000 people, there are still so many green spaces where we can escape into nature. Some are large, some are small, but all are a little piece of heaven.

If you’d like to train in a park near you or in your own backyard, shoot me a message, and let’s tap into the magic of nature together.
